The City of Salo (hereinafter referred to as the contracting entity/client) will invite tenders for the procurement of oblique and ortho-aerial photography of the Salo area in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices. A more detailed description of the procurement is given in section II.2.4) Description of the procurement and in this invitation to tender and its appendices.

The object of the acquisition is a diagonal and orthoaic photograph of the Salo city area. The area of the described area is approximately 2168 km². Diagonal and ortho-aerial photography must be carried out from a manned aircraft. The aerial photography in question must be carried out between May and Midsummer 2023. A more detailed schedule is described in this invitation to tender. The description and requirements for the procurement of oblique and orthophotographic photography are described in particular in the section of the invitation to tender entitled Criteria for the procurement object and in other sections of the invitation to tender.

Bevel and orthophotos are commonly used, for example, in city examinations and urban planning, the activities of permit and supervisory authorities, the renovation of the address register and the needs of urban modelling. The data can also be used to produce a numerical map.
