Nordlandsnett AS is planning development of the supply security for Lovund island in Lurøy municipality. Lovund is an industrial society with approx. 475 inhabitants at the coast of Helgeland. The society is established around the fish farming industry and has activities for several areas which require high user time and increased security of supply. The improvement of the security of supply is therefore an prioritised task for Nordlandsnett and it is important for the grid owner and the customers on Lovund. The planned development projects includes a new 36 kW radial from Øresvik Transformer station to Lovund island. The new radial includes a 41 km submarine cable from Kvina to Lovund. — The production and delivery of a 36 kW submarine in one length for approx. 41 km in accordance with the requirements given in the requirement specification.

— Installing - the cable must be installed between Kvina and Lovund in Lurøy municipality. This includes loading, transport, laying and securing works.
