The municipality of Argenbühl intends to build a new gym and festival hall south of the previous location within the urban development area "Rummels".

In addition to the use of the hall for the Eisenharz gymnastics club with a focus on gymnastics, the new gym and festival hall in the sports sector will be able to be used by the daycare center, primary school and other clubs. In the cultural sector, the hall will be able to be used by various associations for concert and dance events, lectures and occasionally for larger events by the community and private individuals.
The hall size of the one-and-a-half-fold hall 18x 36m, is approx. 650m²,
additional equipment room and multifunctional room. A total of approx. 1,500m² of NUF is to be created.

The budget is assumed to be around € 9.7 million for KG 200-700.
The planning services are to be commissioned promptly, completion is planned for 2026.

An architectural competition is currently being held for the new construction of the Turn- und Festhalle Eisenharz, the jury meeting will take place on 22.07.22.

A suitable engineering office is being sought for the services of the specialist planning TGA in accordance with §§ 53, 55 HOAI ALG 1-3.8 (HLS), LPH 1-9. The assignment is to take place in stages, initially up to LPH 3.

Particular importance is attached to the integration of the hall into the landscape. In addition to the use of the hall for the Gymnastics Club Eisenharz with a focus on gymnastics, the new gymnastics and festival hall in the sports area should be able to be used by the daycare center, the primary school and other clubs. The hall should be opaquely divisible into a fixed gymnastics area (e.g. 8 x 18 m) and two equally large areas (e.g. 2 x 14 x 18 m), clear hall height 7.00 m. The span of the hall is about 18m.
The declared goal of the municipality is to operate the replacement new building of the Turn- und Festhalle Eisenharz as climate-neutral as possible in the passive house standard.

The organizer wants a high degree of prefabrication and thus expects a short construction time and an economical construction of the buildings.

Special emphasis is placed on renewable and regional materials. The building is to be planned and realized in timber or hybrid construction. For static or fire protection reasons, alternative construction methods can be used in parts. The differentiation of the facades and components as well as the comprehensible handling of materials must be taken into account. It is seen positively if the timber construction is also reflected in the façade design.
The measure is to be promoted and is supported in particular by the federal programme "Renovation of municipal facilities in the areas of sport, youth and culture".
