The City of Diest needs a renewed and modern

sports park and writes this Assignment for the realization of a multipurpose sports building with swimming pool and sports halls and the construction of sports grounds.

The City of Diest wants to realize this project in collaboration with a private partner, in which this partner is responsible on the one hand for all aspects of the integrated approach to the design, construction, financing, maintenance, provision and operation of a multipurpose sports building with swimming pool and sports halls (Infrastructure DBFMO-Part) and on the other hand for all

aspects of the integrated approach to the design and construction of the public space and the sports grounds (Infrastructure DB-Deel) of Sportpark De Warande.

Sportpark Warande must become a lively park where diestenaren can play sports at all times, either through an association or individually and thus work on their health and well-being while enjoying the beautiful natural and green surroundings.

In order to further frame the Assignment, the Contracting Authority has drawn up a Project Definition, in which (the subject of) the Assignment is further described and framed, and in which the Infrastructure to be realized as well as the basic objectives that it wants to achieve with the Assignment are set out (APPENDIX 4 – Project definition).

DBFMO-Part: Realization of a multipurpose sports building with

swimming pool and gyms.

And

DB-Part: Construction of the public space and the sports grounds,

including the environmental construction.
