This is a joint acquisition, the parties to which are described in this call for tender below. The abbreviation “subscriber” is used for the parties involved in this RFQ.

It is a joint acquisition of several contracting entities. The products requested in this invitation to tender will be used: the units of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District Municipal Corporation and Kymsote (Kymenlaakso Municipal Corporation of Social and Health Services). According to the Law on the implementation of the reform of social and health and rescue and the implementation of its legislation (616/2021) (616/2021), responsibility for organising social and health care is transferred from municipalities and municipal ities (excluding the City of Helsinki) welfare areas on 1 January 2023. The welfare areas will become subscriber to the contract instead of the aforementioned contracting entities.

Earlier in this announcement, section I.2 Joint Procurement, is ticked for technical reasons, the point 'At a joint contracting entity shall be concluded by the contracting entity, 'however, it is a joint procurement/procurement ring of more contracting entities. HUS contracts on behalf of all organizations involved in the joint acquisition.

The contract period shall be valid for a fixed term of four (4) years, after which it will continue for an indefinite period.

The device must be multi-channel, and it should be possible to monitor a wide range of nerves. The power of the device should be adjustable. The device should also provide an audio signal when approaching the nerve with instruments or dithermia, and there should also be the possibility of visual display. The device should be equipped with graceous and various types of probes for identifying and stimulating neural structures. The device must not take interference from other equipment used in the operating room. The device should be easy to clean and easily mobile.

The acquisition also includes device-bound consumables. Equipment-bound consumables can also be purchased for existing equipment.

The estimated start date of the contract period is 1 August 2022. The contract period shall be valid for a fixed term of four (4) years, after which it will continue for an indefinite period.
