The Lucas Education Foundation aims to start using new housing for the Nutsschool Bezuidenhout and nursery (KDV) Pien DAK in 2025 in the form of a new Child Centre Bezuidenhout. The new building will be realized on the corner of Rooseboomstraat and Carel Reinierszkade in The Hague. With its L-shape, the design for the new child centre gives space to a safe schoolyard and forms a prominent face at the corner with a view of the green edge around the sports fields. Another school is currently housed at this location, which will be built at a different location. The current building at Rooseboomstraat 10 will be demolished. The existing basement that is now present at the location will be maintained and reused in the new school. For further information, see the selection guide.

The contract for the work includes the partial demolition work (i.e. complete demolition excluding the existing basement box), the preparation for construction as well as the structural, structural and installation work (both mechanical and electrical) as well as the site layout. The work is described in a technical design / specifications (with UAV 2012). The total program is approx. 4,224 m2 gfa. See the select guide for further information.
