The authority creating a framework for Trusts to procure a stretcher or combination of stretchers to meet the operation, clinical and safety need of the HARTeams to deliver paramedic-level care to patients in confined space, at height and across unstable terrain.

The stretcher(s) are required to be CE marked and compliant with relevant parts of BS EN:1865.

The stretcher(s) need to be for multiple use, hard wearing and durable, accommodate adult and paediatrics. Easy to use, clean, maintain and require minimal training.

Suitable for use in X-Ray machines, and where possible in MRI scanners (to minimise patients handling) able to accommodate clinical equipment.
