Miscellaneous services. Training and simulation in aircraft, missiles and spacecraft. Repair, maintenance and associated services related to aircraft and other equipment. Management-related services. To provide assets for the purpose of training military pilots (including simulation training) to meet a pilot throughput of approximately around 45 trained personnel. this equates to between 4 500 and 5 500 flying hours per annum, though this final total will be confirmed when the ITT is issued. All services to meet this requirement, such as first line handling, and engineering records will be required to meet this service. The aircraft will need to be put on the military register to comply with low flying requirements and companies should note that MOD has recently introduced the Military Aviation Authority to oversee flying operations so any tenderer must be able to meet this specification. Bidders may wish to be aware that a separate contract in respect to the multi-activity services to further support the flying training will be issued very shortly.
