SLU intends to sign framework agreements with one or more suppliers with the task of delivering fruit baskets to SLU's main cities Uppsala, Alnarp and Umeå.

The assignment includes procurement, warehousing and delivery of fresh fruit to ordering units within SLU.

SLU's order volume is estimated at about 50 tonnes of fruit per year, which is distributed according to:

Uppsala ca 36 ton,

Alnarp about 7 tons and

Umeå about 7 tons.

The proportion of organic fruit corresponds to about 80%, which may increase during the framework agreement period.
