With the new network decision, the cantonal road over the Julier from Thusis to Silvaplana was included in the national road network on 1 January 2020. This route is mostly a 2-lane mountain route, characterized by many engineering structures. Part of this tender is the Crap Sès tunnel in the municipality of Surses. The tunnel and the operating and safety facilities must be partially renewed. The Crap Sès tunnel is to be completely renovated and traffic safety increased. In a first step, a concept of measures is to be drawn up. Subsequently, the project of measures for the overall repair as well as the execution project and detailed project for the additional emergency exit are created. The implementation of the overall upgrade is planned for the years 2026 to 2029.

The total effort is estimated at 13,425 working hours.
