Framework agreement with one tenderer for laundry services, including the hire and laundry of uniforms and flat textiles for health and welfare institutions, the home care service, and the laundry of residents's clothing.

The contracting authority can limit the competition to organisations or programmes that have a primary objective of integrating disabled or disadvantaged persons into working life, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations, Section 16-9.

Fjell, Sund and Øygarden Municipalities were merged on 1 January 2020 to form Øygarden Municipality. The new municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement for laundry services that covers the entire municipality.

The need includes the hire and laundry of uniforms and flat textiles for health and welfare institutions, the home care services, and the laundry of residents' clothing.

The municipality has 4 nursing homes/welfare centres, emergency doctor surgery, local medical centres, respite care institutions, and some other minor institutions that need the above-mentioned services. Most of the services come from the nursing homes/welfare centres and local medical centres, which together have more than 200 beds/resident places.
