The Hundertwasser Comprehensive School is two 5 MP schools with 4 storeys of the Rostock school type in panel construction, which has been mirrored offset at the lower or upper head structure. The school was built in 1976 and opened in 1977/78.

The school buildings were extensively renovated in 2005/6. Later, a foyer or break hall was installed in the southern courtyard.

The outdoor areas have remained unrehabilitated so far. There are approximately 800 students at the school who are taught by grades 5-12.
