The City of Helsinki's Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Division (Sotepe Division) acquires an electronic chemical register as a SaaS service.

The description of the object of procurement document attached to the invitation to tender and the requirement specification were made in May-June 2023.

The client of the procurement is the City of Helsinki's Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Division. The aim is to implement the procurement as quickly as possible. In practice, the procurement decision is expected to take place at the end of 2023.

The contract period is 24 months + option period 24 months. After this, the agreement can continue until further notice.

Object of procurement

The purpose of the electronic chemical register to be procured is to collect up-to-date information on chemicals used in the industry and their safety data sheets in one place.

Chemicals legislation obliges the up-to-date listing of chemicals in use and the availability of safety data sheets.

In addition to the desktop user interface, the goal is to provide users with a mobile solution that makes up-to-date chemical safety data sheets available regardless of the user's location.
