Andreas Primary School - Dismantling and construction site renovation component C
Dismantling including pollutant remediation and disposal, construction site rehabilitation including earthworks and disposal.
The city of Essen is planning to dismantle buildings on the Andreasschule school grounds, Von-Eine-Straße 56 in Essen. In a first step, the break room / toilets and pavilion 2 buildings are to be dismantled and an excavation pit is to be built. This is followed by the construction of a new building (component C).
The two existing buildings (break hall / toilets and pavilion 2) including floor slabs and foundations are to be dismantled. Furthermore, surface seals, fences, walls and playground equipment are to be partially removed from the outside area. A pollutant report was drawn up in advance of the measure. Applications containing pollutants were also found. In addition, the roof was sampled and the buildings examined further. These pollutants must be properly removed before the actual dismantling work begins. A subsoil investigation is also included in the tender documents. The contractor must dispose / recycle all waste.
The present call for tenders includes:
- clearing out and gutting the buildings,
- the remediation of asbestos-KMF-containing applications,
- the dismantling including deep clearing,
- Clearance of devices and fixtures in the outdoor area,
- a partial unsealing of the open space (including partially tarred asphalt),
- the creation of a construction pit with embankments including a pump sump including a coarse / foundation subgrade.
