Design and execution of construction works for the section of expressway S74 Przełom/Mniów — Kielce odc. Kielce (S7 knot Kielce West) - Kielce (DK73)

The planned investment is located in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in the city of Kielce.

The entire section of the road passes through built-up area and coincides with the trace of streets: Łódzka (from the junction with Zakładowa Street), Jesionowa, Świętokrzyska (to the road junction with DK no. 73-Solidarność Avenue) in Kielce. The beginning of the designed expressway S74 is located in km. about 77+939 (km of development 0+000) in the area of the junction with Zakładowa Street in Kielce, and the end in km c. 82+949 of the existing DK74 (km of development 5+010), at the junction with Solidarity al in Kielce.

The purpose of the investment task is to expand DK74 to the parameters of the expressway

with a section of 2x3 together with the extraction of transit traffic from local (urban) traffic and with the adjustment of the existing street layout to the new road situation.

Within the scope of the task shall include:

1) construction of the S74 expressway section as a dual carriageway road with a length of about 5,010 km,

2) reconstruction of the existing communication system,

3) construction of 2 road interchanges: “Herby”, “Grzetle” and expansion of the junction “Kielce Bocianek”,

4) construction of 2 tunnels,

5) construction of engineering facilities:

- viaducts — 6 pcs. ,

- retaining walls,

- construction of an estakade over S74 within DK73,

- construction of 2 roundabout junctions,

- reconstruction of the underpass for pedestrians with a bike path — 1 pc. ,

- demolition and construction of a new railway viaduct within 567 Kielce Piaski — Kielce Herbskie,

- reconstruction of the railway viaduct within the railway line number 8 Warsaw — Krakow,

- widening of the hydrotechnical facility at the Kielecki Lagoon,

- liquidation of elevators and construction of ramps and reconstruction of the steps of the southern footbridge - 1pc,

6) construction of environmental protection equipment, including acoustic screens,

7) expansion and reconstruction of existing roads and streets crossing with the built expressway,

8) Traffic Management System,

9) reconstruction of colliding networks:

- low and medium pressure gas,

- thermal,

- plumbing,

- rainwater drainage,

- electricity,

- telecommunications.
