With this invitation to tender the contracting authority wants to enter into agreements with up to 6 contractors to cover the need for winter maintenance of municipal roads and places. Each agreement must be entered into with a contractor with the professional, technical and financial basis for executing the contractual work.
The agreement period is two years. Option for extending the agreement two times for up to 12 months. The total maximum agreement period is 4 years.
The tender contest is divided into the following lots:
- Zone 1: Jøsenfjorden (Jøsenfjorden school and nursery, Mælandsmoen, Vadla (quay), Austheim and Holmen)
- Zone 2: Jøsneset (Jøsneset school and nursery, fire station, Åslandvegen, Fosså, Foss, Skiftun quay and Ingelsdal)
- Zone 4: Vormedalen (Kleivalandsvegen, the road to Vormedalen Chapel, Tøtland, Mælandsvegen, from the Funningland crossing down to Tytlandsvik quay and parts of the pavement FV (County Road) 660 from HP 01, km 0.363-0.597.
- Zone 5: Breiland (Heggelandsvegen and Viganevegen)
- Zone 9: Randøy, Børøy and Fister (Randøy nursery/School, Randa, road from Hovda to Børøy, burial ground Kåda, Kobberstein, Tømmerkaia Barnevik, Fister the central areas, Solbjørvegen, Nordskå, Grønevik, Skjelsvik, Fisterhammaren, Mosnes development, Følsvik, Klokkarjordet, parts of Sandvikvegen, KJelavika and Helgøy).
- Zone 10: Årdal (Mælslia, Svadberg, Årdalstunet, the central area of Årdal, Dalane residential area 1 and 2, Nesvegen, Kaltveidvegen, Egelandsvegen, Hortane, quay Verven, Mæleveien, Måmyrvegen up to the bridge under the road barrier. Zones 6, 7 and 8 are executed by the technical section of the contracting authority. This applies to the central area of Hjelmeland, Byrkja, Jesfjell, Eggebø, Mikalsbakken, Vigatunet, Vikaneset and Hundsnes.
Almost all the municipal roads and places in Hjelmeland municipality have paved either asphalt or oil gravel surfaces. Gravel roads may occur on some roads and places.
Invoices shall be submitted twice a year. Emergency preparedness must be invoiced by 15 January, and hours spent must be invoiced by 15 May.
The contractor shall sign a liability insurance sufficient to cover the liability expected in the contract. This shall be presented upon request from the contracting authority.
