Currently, VTT operates a test facility for passenger car exhaust emissions, consisting of a CVS system and gas analyzers as well as a chassis dynamometer. The original system was commissioned in 1989 with an upgrade of gas analyzers in 1998 and a new CVS in 2009. The acquisition now is to renew the original dilute/raw emissions analysing equipment associated with this set-up and replace current analyzers with one modern system that fulfils all current-level requirements (Euro 6) for analysing of gaseous exhaust emissions from light vehicles. Also current particulate sampling system will be renewed.
