The traffic management company Fintraffic Oy (later "Fintraffic") organises a tendering process through an open procedure, the purpose of which is to get a partner for long-term development work on Fintraffic's external website at fintraffic.fi. In addition to technical maintenance, the service to be procured includes expert services and development related to the Drupal platform. In the development, special emphasis is placed on service design and user orientation.

Fintraffic.fi website has been implemented on the Drupal platform. The website is implemented in three languages (Finnish, Swedish and English), of which the Finnish website is the most extensive.

The aim of the tender is to get Fintraffic a long-term Drupal partner who is responsible for the technical maintenance of the site and, together with the client, to develop the existing Fintraffic.fi website further from a traditional business website towards an attractive traffic information "department store" and service portal.

Fintraffic is building a unified concept of digital services, in which the fintraffic.fi website plays a key role. The service design and user-oriented design of the future partner of the Fintraffic.fi website can also be utilised in the development needs of Fintraffic's subsidiaries' online services in order to ensure a consistent user experience throughout the services.
