The Trust is asking the Service Provider to:

— Install and maintain point of care meters for blood glucose and ketone measurement along with consumables (including lancets) and software;

— Provide a fully networked system throughout the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust sites including New Cross Hospital, West Park Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital along with interfacing to allow transfer of results into the LIMS system/Trust Integration Engine from the glucose and ketone connected meters;

— Install a small number of unconnected glucose meters for use in the community if installing connected meters is not feasible;

— Provide other services such as training, contract management support, reagents and any other consumables supply and value added item such as marketing and service improvement.
