Tenders were invited by the Council from Contractors with relevant experience, sufficient capacity and capability in providing Roofing Works (the "Works") across the borough of Kirklees, under a proposed Framework Agreement as detailed further in the Tender Pack and Specification. The procurement documents were available to download from YORtender ( https://yortender.eu-supply.com).
Under this Framework the majority of the Roofing Works are to be carried out on residential properties across the Borough on homes of varying archetypes including low-rise flats, houses, and bungalows.
In addition, there is a requirement for roofline works (Gutters, Facias and Soffits) minor roof works and roofing repairs. There is a reroof mixture of pitched and flat roofs using a variety of slates and tiles on pitched roofs and various design and build flat roof systems. Annually there are approximately 300 properties requiring roofing works located across the
district.
Lot 1 is for Pitched Roofing Replacements.
