"Fire protection measures stairs B and C including toilet facilities" - Object planning

In the first construction phases, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg carried out fire protection renovations on the high-rise building of its television centre at Masurenallee 16-20 in 14057 Berlin.

The project content of the 4th construction phase is the section-by-section fire protection and media renovation in the area of stairwells B and C, including the adjacent shafts and rooms. The northern wing of the high-rise building is 7-storey, the southern wing is 13- and 14-storey.

For the most part, the measures must be carried out during operation.

The aim is to establish the fire protection of the television centre with the following service contents, so that further, long-term use is guaranteed and a condition approved by the building authorities is established.

- Securing the stairwells stairs B and C

- Fire protection revision of the load-bearing structure

- fire protection revision of the cladding and

Raumabschlüsse

- Technical revision of the building services installations

As part of the measures, there will be the following four EU tenders:

VE 23.06.237 Objektplanung

VE 23.06.238 Technical building equipment, HLSK

VE 23.06.239 Technical building equipment, ELT

VE 23.06.240 Technical building equipment, extinguishing technology

The review and, if necessary, revision of the LP3 work phase is commissioned directly.

The service phases LP4-LP8 are optionally ordered and called up individually.

The commissioning of the planning services is planned for 15.11.2023. The completion of the review and, if necessary, revision of the LP3 of all four EU calls is scheduled for 13.04.2024.

Review of the existing design planning and consolidation of the test results of the newly commissioned planners. (Note: The design planning of the technical building equipment is also examined, these results are to be recorded and coordinated.)

Provision of the work results as a basis for the other parties involved in the planning as well as coordination and integration of their services.

As part of the structural fire protection renovation, the walls, ceilings and room closures (including doors) in the aforementioned project area must be upgraded or newly constructed in accordance with the building law requirements. Damaged

Fire protection cladding on the building supporting structures must be removed and shafts must be upgraded to ensure fire protection.

Finally, the premises are to be finalized as part of the interior design (drywall, painting, floor covering, room number plates, etc.).

The requirements of the monument preservation plan and the rbb must be observed.

In the area of the shafts, a fastening system with grating levels for holding and fastening the supply lines is to be implemented for this purpose. The structural principles (wall design) and the special fire protection requirements, e.g.

to the fastening, etc., are to be coordinated with the parties involved. Close coordination with the specific specialist planners (e.g. HDWNLA, TGA, fire protection, statics, etc.) is required and coordinated. The implementation planning for the fastening systems must also be drawn up.

The toilet facility on the ground floor at stairs B and the toilet facilities and kitchenettes at stairs C and the are to be comprehensively modernized. All installations, fixtures, room closures and wall, ceiling and floor coverings must be renewed.

The design of the floor and wall coverings must be re-sampled. In a toilet cubicle, a washbasin should be arranged directly in the cubicle, the barrier-free toilet on the 7th floor is likely to be omitted.

The detailed design of the stairwell doors on staircase C is to be redesigned.

The requirements of the monument preservation plan and the rbb must be observed.

If necessary, changes during the planning phase require an addendum to the building permit, so a building template authorization for the state of Berlin is required
