The services covered by the contract are precisely described in the special tender documents.

Briefly, they are summarized as follows: selection, processing and handling of waste in the selection and valorisation platforms of Novi Ligure and Tortona as well as cleaning of offices and changing rooms in the sites available to SRT in Novi Ligure and Tortona.

The services covered by this contract are to be considered to all effects essential public services; therefore for no reason they can be suspended or abandoned, except in cases of force majeure. In case of abstention from work due to a strike called by trade associations, the essential services must be insured, as required by law 15.6.1990 n. 146.

SRT SpA has the right to modify the services provided. In this case, the adjustment of the fees and the methods of execution of the service will be agreed between the parties in compliance with the principles and parameters set out in the

Main performance

Handling, selection, processing, loading of the types of materials described in the specifications. During the contract, the CER codes relating to the various materials subject to the contract may be modified following legislative or regulatory changes or processing methods. In the case of introduction of materials, CER codes or processes introduced from scratch, a fee equal to that provided for similar processes will be recognized.

For the correct realization of the main service, the contractor must continuously have the minimum equipment and means described in the specifications.

Secondary service: internal and external transport

The service concerns the transport and unloading inside and at the final destination plants, including the weighing in the foreseen cases, with personnel and with means of the contracting company, of urban or special waste produced by the Novi Ligure and Tortona sites.

Secondary service: cleaning of rooms available to SRT

The service concerns the ordinary cleaning of the changing rooms and offices. The products used must comply with the limits set by the "Action plan for environmental sustainability of consumption in the public administration sector" and in particular by the "Minimum environmental criteria" for the assignment of the cleaning service and for the supply of products for hygiene.

The successful tenderer must submit the declarations relating to the products used in compliance with the annexes referred to in Ministerial Decree 24.5.2012.

Secondary performance: MSW loading

The service concerns the loading of undifferentiated urban waste (CER 200301) from heaps placed on the ground, inside top-loading trailers, by means of a suitable octopus loader with elevating cabin, at the Novi Ligure plant. The service also includes the use of a wheel loader for handling waste and preparing heaps.
