The district of Lower Franconia intends to renew / rehabilitate canals and water pipes at the district hospital Lohr am Main.
The existing canals and water supply pipes at BKH Lohr are over 100 years old in places. In addition to combined sewers, there are also sewage and rainwater sewers with corresponding connection pipes on the site.
It is currently assumed that a total of approx. 15 km of sewer and sewer pipe length in dimensions from DN 100 to DN 700 is assumed. Approximately 350 shafts and approximately 1,100 pipeline elements are also located on the site.
According to the current state of knowledge, there are water pipes of approx. 6 km on the site of the BKH Lohr. These are divided into main lines – approx. 4.8 km – in the dimensions DN 80 to DN 150 and connecting cables with a length of approx. 1.2 km. The dimensions of the connecting cables are currently unknown.
As part of an already carried out condition assessment, approx. 2,600 m of sewer were classified in condition class 1 (ZKL 1 = severe deficiency, short-term need for action – 1-5 years) and approx. 6,800 m of sewer in condition class 2 (ZKL 2 = medium deficiency, medium-term need for action – 5-15 years).
There is currently hardly any information available about the condition of the water pipes. It is assumed that at least 20% of the existing water pipe lengths are in need of renewal.
Planned sewerage measures:
-Continuation of the channel renewal of the already started BA 1
-Remediation of damage of condition classes 1 and 2 determined by means of channel TV

The required overall measure cannot be carried out in one go, but must be implemented in several construction phases (possibly divided into sections).
The scope of the tendered VgV procedure concerns the overall measure, which is carried out in several construction phases.
District heating pipes as well as electrical lines and telephone and data lines are available on the hospital grounds. A rerouting of these lines may be necessary due to the design.
The construction costs are currently assumed to be approx. € 3.5 million net for the sewer network and approx. € 1.2 million net for the water supply network.

Part of the VgV procedure is commissioning of the object planning of civil engineering structures according to HOAI, Part 3, Section 3, §§ 41 ff., divided into:
-Water supply according to § 41 or Annex 12.2 Group 1
-Waste water disposal (sewer construction) according to § 41 or Annex 12.2 Group 2
-Commissioning of the basic services of work phases 1 – 9 as well as remaining services LPH 2
-Step-by-step commissioning – for the time being only level 1 with LPH 1 – 4 including associated special services
-Levels according to contract model
-Specific special services:
oOn-site construction supervision
oMonitoring of the rectification of defects (within LPH 9)
oSurveying of civil engineering structures during planning
-A condition assessment and a hydraulic inventory calculation are available for the sewer network. Planning services within the meaning of the HOAI have not yet been provided.
-It is assumed that with the conclusion of the VgV procedure, the goal-setting phase according to BGB is completed.
The assignment is intended in accordance with the provision of the financial and subsidies.
A legal claim to the commission, as well as to the commissioning with further stages or special services, does not exist.

Note on the fee agreement according to § 7 HOAI 2021:
The fee tables of the HOAI 2021 show orientation values. The fee is based on the agreement made by the contracting parties in text form. The client points out that in accordance with § 7 HOAI a higher or lower fee than the orientation values specified in the hoAI fee tables can be agreed. Unless an agreement has been made, the respective basic fee rate shall be deemed to have been agreed for the basic services.
