The ZV NVR awards regional rail transport services for the RB 21 Nord (north branch of the Rurtalbahn) in accordance with the procurement law in a competition procedure in accordance with the provisions of the GWB and the VgV. The RB 21 Nord has the route: Düren - Jülich - Linnich. The service volume is: approx. 0.5 million train km / a.
The subject of this award are transport services in local rail transport in the area of responsibility of the regional rail transport authority on the basis of a gross transport contract. The services are to be provided on the RB 21 Nord (north branch of the Rurtalbahn) and in detail on the following line sections:
- Düren - Jülich (KBS 483);
- Jülich - Jülich North (KBS 483);
- Jülich North - Linnich (KBS 483).
The services cover around 0.5 million train kilometers per standard year. The start of operation of the RB 21 North must take place in full with the international timetable change on December 12, 2021. Operation will end with the international timetable change in 2025, probably on December 13, 2025.
