The present invitation to tender covers the administration of the Danish Parliament's self-insurance scheme, including the processing of claims and compensation payments for the Danish Parliament. The Supplier shall handle all parts of the claims handling of all reported claims for compensation brought against the Danish Parliament, including the institutions of the Danish Parliament, from receipt of the claim up to and including the payment of compensation to the claimant or up to and including the rejection of the reported damage.

The Danish Parliament has decided to be self-insured. Thus, the Folketing itself bears the financial risk in the event of damage. The Danish Parliament follows the principles of the Ministry of Finance's circular no. 9783 of 9.12.2005 on self-insurance in the state, etc.

The present invitation to tender covers the administration of the Danish Parliament's self-insurance scheme, including the processing of claims and compensation payments for the Danish Parliament.

The Supplier shall handle all parts of the claims handling of all reported claims for compensation brought against the Danish Parliament, including the institutions of the Danish Parliament, from receipt of the claim up to and including the payment of compensation to the claimant or up to and including the rejection of the reported damage. This means that the Supplier decides whether the Danish Parliament is obliged to pay compensation and, if so, determines the amount of compensation and bears the necessary expenses in connection therewith, that the Supplier pays the compensation to the applicant on behalf of the Danish Parliament, and that the Danish Parliament reimburses the Supplier the sums attached.
