The Zweckverband Water and Wastewater Treatment Rügen (CHAT) operates the Göhren wastewater treatment plant in Göhren on Rügen, which has an approved expansion size of 30,000 EW. With the steadily rising tourism on the island of Rügen, the inlet load has increased significantly since the last expansion of the wastewater treatment plant. The Göhren wastewater treatment plant has reached its capacity limit and needs to be expanded.
The expansion of the wastewater treatment plant is divided into 3 sections:
a) Renewal of blower station / conversion of aeration tanks 1 and 2 (realized)
b) 1st construction phase - new construction of aeration basin 3 (realized)
c) 2nd construction phase - renewal of secondary clarification / renewal of mechanical pre-cleaning (to be realized)
The invitation to tender for the lots required for (c) shall be staggered. Lot 1 is awarded nationally within the framework of § 3 para. 9 VgV. Lots 2 to 4 are put out to tender in accordance with § 15 VgV.
DismantlingDismantling of the existing sand trap building including the mechanical equipment contained there (compact sand trap plant with peripherals) and electrical equipment (e.g. switchgear of the compact sand trap plant).
Dismantling of the partially broken long sand trap existing in the ground.
Dismantling of existing buried pipelines and surface reinforcement in the area of the sand trap building.
Implementation including all necessary earthworks.
Engineering and pipeline constructionNew inlet shaft (in-situ concrete structure with prefabricated element) incl. pipelines.
New construction of control shaft.
New construction of rake and sand trap (civil engineering and civil engineering).
Dismantling of pipelines and adaptation of the pipelines of the sewage treatment plant inlet including temporary pumping and the dismantling of the northern road.
Piping, building and road constructionNew construction of gate valve shaft (in-situ concrete structure).
New construction of connecting pipeline construction.
Construction of new building, energy distribution station.
Construction/removal of the previously created new mechanics (rake and sand trap).
Surface fastening in the area of all new buildings.
Mechanical and electrical engineeringEquipment Mechanics (rake and sand trap) consisting of inlet flow rate measurement, screening system, screening press, sand trap scraper, sand washer incl. sand trap trough, grease pumps, retrofitting supply air treatment and new exhaust air treatment.
Equipment control shaft with fittings and equipment measuring shaft with quantity measurement.
Equipment mixing and balancing tanks with agitators, pumps, fittings and air treatment. Equipping the associated shaft structure with fittings.
The electrotechnical connection of the process plant to the energy supply and control technology network of the Göhren sewage treatment plant is carried out via a newly installed precast concrete station at the mechanics. In the final stages of this station, the control cabinets for the energy supply and measurement and automation technology are located. The necessary media lines for the energy supply and control technology can be pulled in to the company building via an existing empty conduit system. The cables and wires in the mechanics are laid in fixed cable trays in the building. In addition, an existing PV system must be installed.
