Delivery of the active components (controllers, access switches for 7 distributors, access points for planned areas) for the WLAN expansion in the St. Vincenz Hospital Limburg
For the implementation of digitization projects, such as the digital patient curve or the patient data management system, an extension of the WLAN architecture must take place. Krankenhausgesellschaft St. Vincenz mbH intends to procure the active WLAN components for the further expansion of WLAN in Limburg Hospital. With this project, we want to expand the IT infrastructure.
The modern LAN and WLAN components are to be implemented to the existing WLAN in St. Vincenz Limburg in a new structured environment, primarily on three floors to the existing network and integrated into the existing WLAN or network infrastructure (Aruba) or expand it. As a holistic management solution, Aruba AirWave is already used for all existing HPE components.
The new WLAN infrastructure requires both new controllers, which are redundantly connected, as well as modern access switches which must be installed in seven new distribution rooms and redundantly connected to the core in RZ1 and RZ2. The configuration and verification of the switches is to be configured automatically with new tools.
Redundant hardware controllers are planned, which support the AirMatch technology. These should master machine learning for RF optimization and need ClientMatch functionality for better customization. Client roaming is needed to better troubleshoot problems with clients that are lagging behind.
Latest WLAN 6 certified access points with WPA3 and CERTIFIED Enhanced Open, load balancing over the radio bands and control of dual-band capable clients from 2.4GHz to 5GHz that support integrated network intelligence must have integrated RF filters on access points for cellular coexistence, AI-powered RF optimization, automatic and manual WLAN radio settings, service assurance and intelligent management options for an improved IT and user experience. For the critical areas, APs with horizontally and vertically polarized antenna elements are planned.
The tendered components are to be delivered and installed by the contractor and configured ready for operation. All supplied components must be fully compatible with each other.
