GöteborgsLokaler intends to carry out a redevelopment with associated new building of the property Heden 24:12 on Engelbrektsgatan 69-71 (the Opalen neighborhood).

A feasibility study was completed in 2016–2017 which resulted in a plan to build the property on 3 floors and to add a new gallery towards Sten Sturegatan. Total additional surface area is estimated to be about 2,000 m2.

In addition to the aforementioned extension, the other part of the property will be completely renovated with respect to installations construction, plumbing, electricity etc.
