The assignment consists of delivering the realization of the scenographic design of Ruimtevaarders for the exhibition 'Antwerp and the Second World War'. The exhibition is a rather traditional thematically constructed exhibition with important experience components and activating spaces. The exhibition is very clearly structured and consists of a dozen clusters that are positioned as islands freely in the space of the fourth floor.
The realization of the scenographic design starts with the technical finalization of the design into execution drawings, making material and finishing choices, determining construction and assembly methods, determining the necessary object supports (metal and / or wood) and presentation principles for the collection pieces and this in close consultation with the scenographer (Ruimtevaarders) and the client (MAS and AG Vespa).
Furthermore, the assignment includes the construction and production of all exhibition elements, showcases, tables, stages with all accessories and also all printed work (room texts, graphic panels and reproductions), multimedia choices (not hardware), soclage and installation of the objects, execution of the lighting design (by Ruimtevaarders and 50Lux), in short the entire realization of the exhibition 'Antwerp and the Second World War'.
