The subject of the tender are track, underground and road construction services for the barrier-free expansion of the section from the Palatinate Center to the cemetery in Leimen as well as a 90 m long track renewal directly north of it.

In addition to 5 platforms and 2 bus platforms, the entire street area with lane, parking, sidewalk, bicycle traffic and green spaces will be renewed. The empty pipe infrastructure must be established for telecommunications lines.

- Dismantling of the existing track systems (construction area 4 only) and stops;

- dismantling the existing traffic areas (roadway, sidewalk);

- earthworks in the area of the new traffic areas;

- New construction of track systems for light rail vehicles :;

- Slab track (RhedaCity system) with asphalt, paving and lawn covering;

- Opening and restoring the surface for placing overhead line masts (the positioning is done by third parties on behalf of the AG);

- Manufacture of 5 platforms (Stadtbahn) and 2 bus platforms including empty pipe infrastructure and guard rails;

- Manufacture of empty pipe infrastructure including inspection shafts for telecommunications lines from Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH, the city of Leimen (light signaling technology) and the ZV high-speed network Rhein-Neckar;

- Manufacture of cable trenches and protective pipes for connection lines for street lighting and supply lines from Syna GmbH (electricity);

- Renewal / adaptation of the street and track drainage including the associated connection pipes;

- New traffic areas for individual traffic;

- pavement and asphalt roadways;

- Parking areas, sidewalks / bike paths with concrete pavement;

- Manufacture of a covered bicycle storage facility;

- Manufacture of foundations for the station equipment;

- Installation, provision, implementation of signs for traffic management during construction and site security;

- making green spaces;

- Application of the final lane marking and application of the final signage.
