BTG 003 - Bahnstromanlagen

In the course of the renewal of Mansfelder Straße, it is planned to renew the systems for traction power supply, point control and point heating. This includes the section "Rennbahnkreuz" (exclusively) to "Klausbrücke" including the junction "Herrenstraße". The substation areas "Rennbahnkreuz" BUW 21 and "Herrenstraße" BUW 24 are affected.The supply cables to the supply and return cables to OKV 21/04, 24/02 and 24/06 will be renewed. The cables for the power supply to the associated StKV will also be renewed.

Furthermore, the cables for feeding and returning the cross coupling between the BUW 21 and the BUW 24 will be renewed.

The installation is carried out in empty piping. The cables of the cross coupling are partly to be laid in the newly built "Elisabeth Bridge" in the empty conduit system.

Furthermore, voltage taps for the point control / point heating in the area "Herrenstraße" and "Rennbahnkreuz" are to be installed as well as for the supply of the curve lubrication system in the area "Rennbahnkreuz".

To protect against excessive contact voltage of the newly erected "Elisabeth Bridge", a potential protection device must be installed. This is to be installed in a KV on OKV 24 / 01. When the potentials between the bridge structure and the rail potential are increased, a conductive connection between bridge grounding and rail is established via a puncture protection device (VL). This is monitored and transmitted to the control center.

Masts for LSA and FSA, which are located in the catenary crack area, are to be included in the protective measure "open path grounding".

The conversion will take place in several construction phases.

BTG 005 - Communication/Power Supply 400/230 V

As part of the light rail programme, the section from the saltworks to the racecourse cross, including the Elisabeth Bridge, is to be renewed.

The existing parts of the communication and low-voltage system in this section of the route are to be renewed and integrated into the existing building boundaries.

The earthworks required for this must also be carried out. The existing GF pipeline paths in the construction phase must be maintained during the construction period and routed in the construction site according to the state of construction.

The existing communication and low-voltage systems are networked via Fm and GF and electrical cables and routed to distribution equipment. The distribution equipment is separated into small signal and electrical installations. Parts of these plants must be kept in operation during the construction period and erected according to the construction phase. The new communication and electrical system to be built in the construction phase must be erected and measured according to the currently valid and recognized technical rules. Technical documentation (paper copy and on electronic medium) must be drawn up for the plant.
