For DB Regio AG, a CNC-controlled single-underfloor wheelset lathe is to be procured at the Haltingen site (new procurement/new construction).
This publication relates to the production, delivery, assembly, commissioning, training, trial operation and final acceptance of the machine including all necessary peripherals for the Haltingen plant.
On the machine, mainly wheelsets of DB Regio AG in standard gauge 1,435 mm are to be measured and machined (mainly Regio locomotive classes and ET/VT series).
The single-underfloor wheelset lathe must be suitable for the following tasks/functions:
► Automatic measurement of the wheelsets in at least the usual wheelset dimensions a1, a2, d, ∆d, e, h, qR, G and H
► Measurement/machining of the wheelsets in the installed state or as an independent wheelset with bearings/bearing housings
o Wheelsets can be mounted internally or externally and in some cases mechanically coupled to each other
► Automatic reprofiling of the wheel rims/wheel tread on monobloc and tire wheel discs with profiles according to DIN EN 13715 or Ril 984.0400 in various diameters and widths as well as:
o Machining of wheel and shaft brake discs (tarpaulins)
o Machining of the outer wheel rim end face and re-piercing of the characteristic groove
► Proof of the compliant condition of the wheelsets after machining with regard to the parameters d1.2, ∆d1.2, e1.2, h1.2, qR1.2, H1.2, G1.2, a1 and a2 with a measuring system according to DIN 27201-9
► Logging of all measured and calculated data in an electronic database (machine-internal or DB-hosted) plus the automated transfer option to the internal ERP system (SAP ISI)
► Possibility of remote maintenance access via "secure remote maintenance"
► Output of defined machine information via OPC UA interface
► Login/deregistration of operators via DB Group ID card and assignment of corresponding authorizations
The underfloor wheelset lathe is to be designed with an automatic chip disposal device with chip breaker, a smoke and dust extraction system, a hydraulic system and other functionally necessary peripherals according to CE conformity at the latest state of the art.
The primary measuring circle diameter range to be machined is between 580 mm and 1,250 mm. The wheelset shaft length including the bearings/bearing housings is a maximum of 2,600 mm, the axle load acting on the machine is a maximum of 250 kN (plus any hold-down forces to be introduced).
