As part of the funding program “Culture makes you strong. Alliances for Education” of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Reading Foundation supports approximately 485 LE Seclubs and 80 media.labs by the end of 2022, which are located in all-day schools, libraries and youth departments, for example. The reading clubs are aimed primarily at educationally disadvantaged children and adolescents aged 6 to 12 years, while media.labs are aimed at the age group of 12 to 18 years. In the period from May to the end of 2022, reading clubs and media.labs will receive initial and post equipment consisting of books.
Object of the order

Lot 1: Large book equipment of about 75 reading clubs
The list of the Grand Book Package contains 175 titles for children aged 6 to 12 from 2021 (see “166 05 lot 1 attachment large book packages reading club 2022"). All new reading clubs will receive this book package.

Lot 2: Small book layout of about 485 reading clubs
There are 10 book packages of different contents, which contain between 14 and 24 titles (see “166 05 Lot 2 Book Packages Annex 2022"). It should be noted that there is no overlap of titles between the individual packages. Approximately 485 reading clubs receive individual packages of the 10 mentioned packages for delivery. The Reading Foundation selects which reading club receives how many and which book packages is made by the Reading Foundation with the respective reading club. This means that any combination of the 10 packages is possible. It is assumed that a reading club receives about five different packages on average (in one delivery process).
The Reading Foundation plans to accept the respective book packages No. 1 to 10 for the following number or delivery quantity (see also the corresponding information in Appendix “166 05 Lot 2 Book Packages Reading Clubs 2022" Annex):

There are 5 book packages of different contents, which contain between 17 and 31 titles (see the attachment “166 05 lot 3 book packages enclosure media.labs 2022"). It should be noted that there is no overlap of titles between the individual packages. Approximately 80 media.labs receive individual of the 5 packages mentioned for delivery. The Reading Foundation selects which media.lab receives how many and which book packages with the respective media.lab, i.e. any combination of the 5 packages is possible. It is assumed that a media.lab will receive an average of about three different packages (in one delivery process).
