The Contractor is asked to carry out a number of large-scale online quantitative studies each calendar year among a representative (partial) sample of the Dutch population.
Specifically, these studies are about the image, awareness and brand experience of the NPO, its networks, channels and competition. The mandate shall include both current investigations and similar future studies to be determined.
The studies differ in design, but roughly the specifications are as follows. This is strictly indicative, as this can change over time.

The studies differ in design, but roughly the specifications are as follows. This is strictly indicative, as this can change over time.
The objective of the studies is to survey a representative (partial) sample of the Dutch population on various questions, such as (but not exhaustive);
• awareness of brands + competition;
• appreciation of brands + competition;
• preferred brands + competition;
• image, transmitter and brand characteristics;
• public values (brand values of the NPO);
• open-ended questions about, among other things, perception, strengths and weaknesses, first association.
The purposes of the studies differ per study, examples of this are;
• provide input for the vision, direction and policy of the Board of Directors and the various managements;
• provide input to transmitter management control;
• measuring set KPIs for brand and marketing.
It is important that the results of the mutual measurements of the same studies are and remain comparable. This so that differences in outcomes are not due to a difference in, among other things, design, planning and elaboration. The importance of this is great since a number of KPIs are measured in these studies.
It is therefore important that changes in the studies in any kind, such as design, method and questionnaire, are communicated and coordinated with the NPO in advance.
