1. The project shall, through survey and monitoring of dispersal route for import of plant products, provide the best possible basis for calculating how many alien species enter Norway, and the risk they pose to biodiversity
2. Calculating the connection between the collected samples (number, amount and type of sample) and the number of species in import containers, making it possible to statistically estimate the proportion of the species in each container that is actually detected
3. Examining the number and amount of alien species that have become established and spread from the entrance points and into the surrounding habitats
4. Estimate the detection rate for a variety of vascular plants and invertebrates that are associated with high risk of biological diversity
5. Provide specific advice on a minimum monitoring programme and a recommended level to provide representative information on alien species that spreads across this dispersal route.
6. Give recommendations on quantitative measures, the proportion of the species you can catch, and also give recovery probability, based on the cost of a minimum and a recommended level.
7. Advise on how various measures can prevent the spread of alien species across this dispersal route, and how the methodology can be improved.
