Within the scope of this research assignment with a duration of 18 months, the permeability of educational sections in nursing is examined on the basis of scientific systematic data collection and against the background of theoretical access. The mandate requires a systematic presentation of the opportunities and challenges for permeability between the individual levels of vocational education and higher education. Careers (again) beginners must also be taken into account in the analysis. Accompanying entry measures and or further education approaches to the profession or training are relevant.
With regard to optimised permeability, the order analyses obstacles, good practices and important players and compares the current status in nursing with the vocational training law BBiG and the Crafts Code (HWO). The comparison focuses on the design of career concepts. It is important to work out the didactic points of contact for nursing training, specialist training, extra-occupational degree programs, ward management, nursing management, etc. It's about making transitions transparent and presenting career paths and development options. It's not just about advancement, but about lifelong learning and ensuring the good quality of individual functional areas. The overarching goal of increased permeability in care is comprehensive and high-quality security of care for patients and patients in need of care, which is accompanied by a modern approach to care, which focuses on independent living under conditions of long-term care at the heart of the nursing process.
The following work is being carried out or the following results are planned:
Recommendations for action for different target groups (e.g. educational staff, managers in companies, policy makers) to increase permeability in the field of nursing educationby creating good practices as solutions to existing obstacles to greater permeability (both compared to other areas of education as well as international)
Preparation of a systematic overview of career paths that takes into account all transitions between vocational education and university education
(partial) recognition of foreign degrees Modularization of training for better comparability
It provides a brief overview of the extent to which the opportunity is used in the individual federal states to recognize a passed intermediate examination as a degree to a nursing assistant.
