The Danish Maritime Authority will upgrade / replace the current Integrated Control Alarm System (IKAS) and Power Management System (PMS) aboard the ship I / F Poul Lion Eagle. The existing IKAS / PMS plant has been on board since new construction in 2001. The new IKAS / PMS plant will operate and control the components connected to the existing IKAS / PMS plant. The new plant must take into account new opportunities as a result of technological developments and intuitive operation is expected. New IKAS / PMS systems must be supplied with open source software / programs, as well as components that are freely available to the Danish Maritime Authority and any external suppliers of maintenance and support. Detailed requirements and wishes for the plant can be found in the tender documentation. The contract stipulates that the supplier can perform subsequent maintenance and support on request for up to 4 years after delivery.
