As part of its activities, the EDQM has a manufacturing zone and a laboratory zone. These 2 zones are equipped with several types of collective protection equipment (CPE) in which different types of substances are handled.

The main purpose of this equipment is to ensure the protection of personnel and / or the environment against abnormal exposure to dangerous chemical and / or biological substances. To ensure that this protection is effective and that the CPEs meet the reference standards, the EDQM has these EPCs periodically qualified by an external service provider.
