The contract tendered includes the following services:

- Establishment of a communication network (network components, etc.), delivery of the hometaking system, as well as hosting the hometaking system

- Supply of 16 276 water meters, of which 1 821 can be recycled.

- Supply of 5 586 heat meters, of which 3 761 can be recycled.

Note: The enlightened need for water and heat meters is estimated at the time of supply. Changes may therefore occur.

Note: The meter supplier has the option to reuse the abovementioned number of water and heat meters. It is not a requirement that the said number of meters be reused. It is up to the meter supplier to determine whether it is appropriate to reuse meters.

The contract contains the following option (the “Option”):

- Installation of water and heat meters.

Contracting entities provide the installation of meters as an option, since it is undecided at the time of tender whether the contracting entity wants to carry out the installation itself. Contracting entities decide prior to the conclusion of the contract whether to use the Option.

The total delivery is divided into 4 part deliveries. Part-Delivery 1 contains the establishment of communication equipment and hometaking system. Each of the subsequent partial deliveries consists of the supply of meters and connection to the hometaking system. If the option is utilized, the partial deliveries include 2-4 corresponding installation of meters.

It is the desire of the contracting entity that part delivery 1 is completed by 2021. Therefore, the evaluation of the offers shall include the extent to which the time and implementation plan offered fulfils this desire. For the other years 2022-2024, it is required that the time and implementation plan offered respect to the distribution of the number of meters by the tender base.
