The services to be performed concern: The mowing of roadsides and verges along watercourses with removal of the cuttings to a recognized composting company and the manual mowing of obstacles (see 2.2) around crash barriers, traffic and lighting posts, trees, etc. Special attention is paid to the Mow carefully around trees so as not to damage the bark.

This contract consists of one plot, consisting of 3 sub-contracts, within the same mowing season:

1. First round of mowing between May 15 and June 15.

2. Second mowing round between June 15 and July 15.

3. Third round of mowing between September 15 and October 15.

The implementation period is one mowing season per year and can be extended three times by one year.

Mowing the verges includes:

• mowing the vegetation in such a way that a height of 10 to 15 cm is obtained over all or part of the surface;

• clearing up the grass clippings after mowing;

• the removal of the clippings to a recognized processing installation, following the removal of the clippings.

Each round of mowing must be completed as one continuous process in the following order: manual mowing obstacles (see 2.2) - mowing verge - clearing clippings - removing clippings. For this the company must have sufficient staff and if necessary work with several people at the same time.

Street lists and maps with the mowing regimes have been added as an appendix to the specifications.

The board can always add or remove verges or verge sections from the execution, change the specified working width or the specified mowing time. This is settled at the unit prices stated in the quotation.

Verge or verge segments that appear to be mowed by third parties (eg farmers) at the time of the maintenance, will automatically expire from the current maintenance. The contractor draws these segments accurately into the roadside plans: see comments in the appendix to the report.
