The assignment includes a system delivery for sludge transport in connection with the expansion of existing HCR South.

In connection with the expansion of Hillerød Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (HCR Syd), Hillerød Wastewater A/S wants to reduce the amount of wastewater sludge. This is done by establishing drying of the dewatering sludge before it is removed. The drying will be established in the current container room.

This delivery is offered as a main contract, where the main contractor designs and delivers the sludge transport plant himself. The main features of the contract are as follows:

Design and design of the complete sludge transport plant

Delivery of 2 sludge pumps

Supply of associated polymer pumps

Delivery of 1 feed pump for raw polymer

Delivery of any compressed air installations

Supply of machine/control panel for the sludge conveyor plant

Delivery of OPTION a service agreement

Planning, management and execution of testing, commissioning, start-up and switching

Design and documentation

The sludge transport shall be dimensioned for the following loads:

- Media: Dewatered digested sewage sludge

- Dry matter content: 21 – 26% TS (24% mean)

- Dry matter quantity: max. 325 kg TS/h

- Sludge volume: 0.5 – 2 m3/h
