The contracting authority, require a design team for the design, procurement, construction and delivery of the project opera contract C and D works, which includes the following:

• Parcel 3a refurbishment and new build — New City Library (Town Hall) on all floors including a Café/Restaurant at basement level;

• Parcel 3b refurbishment — retail at basement and ground floor with Residential over;

• Parcel 4 new build — Commercial Office use;

• Parcel 5 new build — Landmark Office building; and

• Parcel 6 refurbishment — Restaurant/Café/licenced premises uses on ground floor and office over.

The project opera site is a 3.7 acre site located in Limerick City between Rutland Street, Patrick Street, Ellen Street, Michael Street and Bank Place.

Planning permission (reference number ABP-304028-19) has been obtained.
