The aim of the project is to realize a new residential area between Sittard and Geleen.

The contract to be awarded concerns a framework agreement for the construction and residential preparation of the new Nieuw-Absbroek residential area. The framework agreement relates to the phased realization of the public space of this new residential area.

Because the land is owned by the municipality of Sittard-Geleen and the area becomes future public space, the municipality is the contracting authority.

The assignment is transferred from the municipality of Sittard-Geleen to De Haese CV (Heijmans + BPD) immediately after the assignment has been awarded.
