Springtown Campus accommodation refurbishment comprises building works alterations, replacement of external cladding, windows, doors, roof covering, replacement of wall, floor and ceiling finishes, fixtures and fittings and building work associated with mechanical and electrical works. Mechanical works includes plumbing services, cooling, LTHW heating, ventilation and system controls. Electrical works includes modifications to distribution system, general and emergency lighting, general power, fire alarm, CCTV, IT system, intruder alarm and all associated system accessories. The refurbishment of the Springtown Campus accommodation will be undertaken in an occupied building and as such will be completed in phases. Following a 2-week mobilisation period, the Works will be completed within a construction contract period of 54 weeks.
