EU Digital Finance Platform – Data Services Related to the Creation of a New Data Hub

In March 2018, the European Commission adopted the Action Plan on FinTech to foster a more competitive and innovative European financial sector. The Action plan is part of the European Commission's efforts to build a Capital Markets Union and a true single market for consumer financial services. It is also part of its drive for a Digital Single Market.

The Data Hub is a key novelty to be added to the EU Digital Finance Platform in phase 2 of this project. The EU Digital Finance Platform, a website owned by DG FISMA, went live on 30 March 2022. Its aim is to boost innovation by better connecting innovative financial firms and supervisory authorities.
