The State Office for the Environment implements the administrative regulations of the MLUK Brandenburg on the payment of grants for nature conservation and landscape conservation measures in open land (VV VN Offenland) and in the forest (VV VN Wald).
In addition to knowledge of nature conservation and law, the preparation of grant agreements for areas with suspected explosive ordnance or known explosive ordnance contamination also requires knowledge in the area of the applicable regulations on accident prevention and explosives law as well as the techniques and methods for implementing nature conservation measures on areas contaminated with explosive ordnance.
This necessitates the need for expert support for the preparation of contractual nature conservation measures by suitable engineering services from external service providers who have suitable knowledge and skills to master the challenges of landscape management on areas contaminated with explosive ordnance.
The field of application focuses on protected areas that are located on former military
training areas and to areas in Brandenburg for which hostilities in the 2nd century have been used.

The work to be carried out includes the expert preparation of the

The engineering and expert support services to be awarded include
currently 8 contract nature conservation contracts according to the VV VN Offenland and 1 contract according to the VV VN Wald, which concern the FFH areas "Döberitzer Heide" and "Rhinslake bei Rohrbeck".
The processing effort changes annually and follows the nature conservation needs and changing boundary conditions under funding law. In accordance with the framework agreement, the existing contracts to be continued can be supplemented by further support services for UN contracts on areas of former military training areas with nature conservation protection status and management needs.
