HHT's vision is to ‘deliver high quality and excellent services for all’. Its' mission is to ‘provide high quality housing services with a social conscience’.
HHT sought bids from service providers to participate in waste management and recycling services primarily within the Borough of Halton, to support the work undertaken by the HHT maintenance team, Construction Services (CS). The outcome of the tender process is a single contract with 1 service provider. The contract is for an initial 3 years with 1 annual option to extend by a further 12 months, up to a maximum 4 years total contract term. The contract is available to Halton Housing Trust and all subsidiaries both current and future.
The service required under this contract is for waste drop-off and recycling. HHT vehicles will drop waste to the successful service providers waste disposal site, where a weigh-bridge service must be available.
The successful service provider will be required to segregate the waste (tipped waste will not be segregated by HHT operatives for recycling). It will be the responsibility of the service provider to segregate waste and report waste tipped and recycling figures for each waste stream back to HHT.
The estimated annual value is 100 000 GBP ex VAT based upon historical expenditure however this is an estimate only. This is for information only, and no guarantees are given, nor are implied as to the value of business that will be placed with the successful service provider.
