The contracting authority wants to enter a contract that shall comply with the requirement for transport. This includes both procurement and leasing of vehicles.

The current car fleet comprises mainly of petrol and diesel vehicles. We have currently a few electric vehicles. However, the extent of electric cars will increase during the contract period. The speed of transition to a fossil free vehicles fleet will vary for the different participants in the Dynamic Purchasing system.

The contracting authority would like future vehicles to be significantly more environmentally friendly. The contracting authority would like to establish a dynamic procurement system for the procurement and operational leasing of vehicles. Some of the tender contests only apply to fossil free vehicles. The following vehicles are primarily included in the contract (the list is not exhaustive):

— passenger cars,

— small goods vans,

— goods vans less than 3,5 tonnes,

— combination vehicles (8+1 seats),

— minibuses.

The purchasing system primarily applies to new vehicles only. Used vehicles are as a general rule procured outside the purchasing system. However, it may be possible to submit tenders for used vehicles if the relevant contracting authority finds it suitable for each individual contest.

Only qualified suppliers will have access to the published competitions included in the purchasing system. In this stage of the process, interested suppliers can apply to be qualified and included in the dynamic purchasing system.
