This contract concerns the acquisition of an ion implantation system allowing the creation of coloured centers in the diamond by ion implantation and heat treatment.

This contract concerns the acquisition of a system for the creation of coloured centres in the diamond by ion implantation and heat treatment. It is part of the context of applications in quantum technologies and more particularly in the framework of an EquipEx+ project.

The requested system must be able to generate locally and in a controlled manner defects such as nitrogen-deficiency centers (so-called NV) through a low energy ion beam (5-30 keV) in diamond samples developed in our consortium. An in-situ annealing at high temperature (800 ºC) will be implemented for the creation of the centers. The system will have an interface to connect it to another plasma processing and regrowth chamber that is not part of this tender.
