The procurement is to establish an FSCS legal Services Framework, which has been split into 3 lots:
— Lot 1: Core FSCS reqiurement: General English Law legal services,
— Lot 2: Scots Law all legal disciplines as covered by Lot 1,
— Lot 3: Employment Law and Ancillary legal services.
This procurement is subject to the “light touch regime” as referred to in Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
This Lot will include:
— financial services and regulatory law,
— legal and regulatory framework applicable to FSCS,
— insolvency and restructuring,
— public and administrative law,
— data protection, freedom of information and privacy Company law,
— general commercial and contract drafting and advice,
— public procurement law,
— outsourcing, including TUPE,
— commercial property,
— banking and finance,
— litigation / dispute resolution and enforcement, including non-UK jurisdiction.
This includes the following legal disciplines:
